Truck-Lite’s wide product range comprises various commercial vehicle lighting, mirror systems, vehicle acoustics, harness systems and connectors. Their range of components for the independent aftermarket are adapted, developed and manufactured according to OEM standard of the commercial vehicle industry.
Objectives
Truck-Lite approached Capsule to design and create Issue 8 of their Lighting & Harnessing Product Catalogue. The main objective of the European flagship catalogue was to showcase all products in an easy to use document in five languages: English, German, French, Italian and Polish. It was to be printed and developed into an interactive flipbook.
Working closely with Truck-Lite we developed their existing brand and created a product catalogue with an intuitive layout. Products have been colour coded by category making the process of searching for specific products seamless for the user. Product descriptions are easy to read and understand and imagery (which was supplied by the client but resized, cut out and colour corrected as part of post-production by Head of Creative, Simon Lewis) is clear and accessible.
The product catalogue was also developed into an interactive flipbook in the same five languages for both Mac and PC. Created in Adobe InDesign, the interactive flipbook offers users the ability to carry out product searches, copy and paste information and share via social media channels and email.
The result is an aesthetically appealing product catalogue which intuitively demonstrates Truck-Lite Europe Ltd’s vast range of products.
