DP World operate multiple yet related businesses – from marine and inland terminals, maritime services, logistics and ancillary services to technology-driven trade solutions.
They have a portfolio of 78 operating marine and inland terminals supported by over 50 related businesses in over 40 countries across six continents with a significant presence in both high-growth and mature markets. They aim to be essential to the bright future of global trade, ensuring everything they do has a long-lasting positive impact on economies and society.
Strategy and objectives
DP World Europe engaged Zero Above to assist in the development of five infographics, three of which were later developed into motion infographics. This content will form the basis of a portfolio of rich multimedia content that DP World have leveraged as a key element to their Europe-wide content marketing strategy. The overarching objective was to emphasise the advantages of DP World and through the delivery of a digital strategy present a compelling set of reasons prospective customers should choose DP World over its competitors.
Content initially provided by DP World was edited and rewritten with a customer focus and worked as a springboard for the start of the creative journey. Each infographic was lovingly created in Adobe Illustrator and the flat assets were later migrated to Adobe After Effects for animating.
The result? Five engaging, informative infographics covering a range of topics including food supply chains, the success of retail, mixed-use schemes, Intra-European trade and the role Turkey plays as a key transitional location. Following a comprehensive brand style guide allowed for rich colour palettes and strong typographic techniques which were later utilised in the motion infographics.
