Zero Above have worked with the Europe Regional Office communications team developing marketing materials and campaigns since 2018 and one of the most recent integrated marketing projects supported DP World’s presence at the world’s leading trade fair for transport, IT, mobility and supply chain management, ‘Transport Logistic 2019’ in Munich.
With over 2,000 exhibitors represented by 63 countries and regions and an audience of circa 64,000 visitors from around the world, a significant opportunity to connect and promote the services of DP World required a focused and resonant campaign supported by a range marketing materials.
Targeted digital marketing campaign
The campaign began with targeted email activity prior to the fair, inviting visitors to book an appointment on stand with a member of the DP World team. The behaviour based campaign delivered a range of messages over a period of weeks close to the fair dates, driving traffic to a dedicated landing page where appointments could be made.
During the event, a range of monitored organic and paid digital activity took place including geofenced targeted advertising through a range of social channels including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. The activity delivered a reach of circa 120,000 across both organic and paid social.
Stand-out marketing assets
A range of brochures were produced for use on the stand. One of the key pieces was a stand-out brochure incorporating a selection of infographics Zero Above have developed with DP World over the last 12 months, featuring subjects such as ‘The future of portside manufacturing’, ‘intra-European trade flows’ and ‘Re-thinking food logistics’. The 42cm tall brochure also featured port location maps and a foldout DP World timeline and provided a unique piece for the brand.
To support the presence at the event, Zero Above developed a video for display on-stand featuring footage of European ports combined with animation and details of services provided at the ports. You can watch the video here.
Filming and photography on-stand
Filming and photography was completed on-stand to provide DP World with a range of assets for use post event to celebrate and promote the exhibition to an internal and external audience.
