As a long-standing client, DNA Kids approached us to assist in the design and development of a new WordPress website for the brand.
To develop a unique look and feel combined with functionality that set DNA Kids apart from their competition and build on (while enhancing) the existing brand integrity with new technology and trends in website design in order to provide the best experience for the user and increase conversions.
Strategy and Objectives
The core objectives for this project were:
User-friendly design principles led our approach – making it easy for website users to find what they need quickly. A set of design values were established with the client to ensure we captured the unique aspects of DNA Kids. This extended to the colours used, which were kept in line with the brand, making them universal, but also updating them for a contemporary look and feel.
A custom map interface was developed to enhance DNA’s coverage and position them as a national kids party provider. By developing a custom map algorithm that accommodates specific parameters identified by DNA Kids, each user can now find a DNA Kids party close to their location.
The result is a fast and intuitive user interface allowing for clear points of entry for users. Calls to action are prominent in design throughout; enabling website users to find relevant content quickly and easily. The design of the website is extendable, allowing for growth and change and has a simple yet intuitive CMS enabling the DNA Kids team to update it quickly. Website users have the ability to register for DNA Kids updates and information on relevant activities, there are also links to social media platforms with fully integrated communication channels.
