We are seeking an experienced mid to senior level PHP Developer to join our growing team, working on a number of exciting and diverse projects; from open-source CMS, to fully bespoke web applications. With both UK and international clients and projects on our portfolio, the role is both interesting and diverse.
As a PHP Developer at Zero Above you’ll be responsible for writing server-side web application logic, the development of back-end components and connecting the application with other web services.
You will also be involved with the technical aspects of digital marketing and deal directly with clients where necessary. You’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial full scoping on back-end development projects through to deployment.
This is a full time (9am-5pm) permanent role offering a competitive salary based on experience. Minimum of 3 years PHP development required.
You are from a fast-paced environment and have solid PHP experience having worked on a diverse range of projects in the past. You are happy to demonstrate your knowledge in written or verbal form and have a library of code that you’d like to showcase.
You are personable and feel at ease talking about technical concepts to non-technical people in a language they can easily understand. You are well versed in troubleshooting critical issues and work well under pressure. You have strong communication skills, communicating well with both our team and our clients. You are comfortable working to tight deadlines and have the ability to prioritise and manage your workload efficiently.
Additional Skills (nice to have – but not essential!)
